Project Name: BT Datacentre/Backup Power System
Design and Installation Synopsis: Continu won the tender to supply and install the backup power solution for the provision of two secure, high availability data centresfor BT, which will deliver annual savings of around £0.5million for the public sector. The contract is valued at circa £15million over 10 years. BT manage the operation of the facilities, including continuity plans and Continu won the tender with main contractor, William Coates.
Continu provided a full turnkey solution including design, delivery, logistics, project management, installation, commission and
ongoing fully supported service for specific data centre infrastructure products exacted by BT across two sites. This high level of expertise and knowledge gained from specific OEM training in France and Denmark over a period of approximately 15 years, is what sets Continu apart from typical electrical contractors.
