Backup power at UTV’s new office in City Quays
Continu and partner Stothers M&E awarded contract to fit out new UTV Belfast Office at City Quays.
The Project
Back up power to broadcast services equipment located within the Central Apparatus Room.
The Background
UTV refurbishment and fit out of new Belfast office on 8th floor, City Quays 2. New backup power requirement for critical broadcast equipment.
The Solution
Following site surveys and several meetings Continu designed a suitable specification to provide UTV with an economical and future proof solution. The project included the Riello MST60kVA Multi Sentry UPS and various Riello Environmental and Security Management and Monitoring accessories.
The Results
“Although a relatively small project, there were various other contractors required to complete main building works. We ensured the backup power equipment was installed and adequately protected against environmental damage whilst on site until final commissioning. We have now ensured complete backup power peace of mind for UTV broadcasting.”
