The project

Northern Ireland Civil Service Estate’s Backup Power installations and ongoing Service Support – H&J Martin partnership – Multi-site.

Background

As a leading provider of Hard and Soft FM Services, H&J Martin Integrated Services brings expertise, creativity, innovation, and best value within one total management package to support businesses and organisations throughout the public and private sectors.

Working in partnership with H&J Martin on the Pan Government Collaborative Framework agreement, the project required Continu to deliver backup power maintenance and support throughout the Northern Ireland Civil Service Estate, which extends to over 2000-plus buildings.

H&J Martin have a reputation for excellence, quality and timely delivery. As such, the company relies on having uninterrupted power supply (UPS) at all times to ensure the support of critical landmark buildings, including Parliament Buildings, should the mains supply fail.

Our solution

We provide dedicated admin support and use our sophisticated CRM system to provide emergency call out response, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, fixes, replacements and safe disposal, as well as 24/7 support 365 days of the year.

The Result

We are able to ensure that Northern Ireland’s Civil Service Estate has a continuous supply of power even in the event of an electrical outage. By providing engineers on-site as well as easy-to-follow technical support over the phone, we are able to create added peace of mind.

“Ensuring a continuous supply of power is crucial as power problems, such as spikes or even blackouts, would have serious implications to the estate’s specialised equipment. What we offer the Northern Ireland Civil Service is peace of mind and a local team of qualified Field Service Engineers that can be on site when required as well as offer telephone advice in simple non-technical language.”
